Gentle Yoga and Tea
September 12, 10:00 am–11:30 am
An event every week that begins at 10:00 am on Thursday, repeating until October 17, 2019
Yoga emphasizes the importance of connection and sense of place, with the past, to our bodies, and to each other. The connections to self and others facilitates a sense of well being and fulfillment.
People with all experience levels are invited to join new gentle yoga classes on campus followed by tea in the Artists’ Café. The class fee includes museum admission.
Certified yoga teacher and positive psychology coach Helena Svedin will lead the group in standing and seated poses, breathing exercises, meditation techniques, and more. Bring your own yoga mat and props, such as blocks and a blanket.
