Landmarks Recognition Program
April 28, 4:00 pm–6:00 pm

Greenwich Historical Society’s annual Landmarks Recognition Program will recognize four properties with plaques for design excellence and their value in preserving Greenwich’s unique architectural legacy. Properties include: Greenwich Town Hall, the World War I Memorial on Greenwich Avenue and distinguished residential properties near downtown Greenwich and in Old Greenwich. Georgian Revival, Egyptian Revival and Tudor architectural styles are represented in these noteworthy structures built in the early 20th century. More than 300 structures have received plaques since the program’s inception in 1987. A committee of acclaimed professionals selected the sites following an extensive review of Greenwich properties.
A champagne reception will precede the program.
