July 21–25 | Grades 2–4
Calling all budding artists! During our art-themed week, campers will learn about the lasting legacy of the Cos Cob Art Colony and the artists that lived and created masterpieces at the Bush-Holley House during the 19th century.
Throughout the week, campers will learn about the principles of the American Impressionist style that Cos Cob artists used. Campers will then put on their creative caps to practice using a variety of different artistic styles and mediums to create still-lives, landscapes, and even self-portraits just like the Cos Cob artists. At the end of this exploration, students will showcase their work in their very own art show.
