Join Greenwich Historical Society staff for a special guided tour of the Bush-Holley House centered on the stories of Josephine Holley and her daughter Constant Holley MacRae, resourceful and entrepreneurial women who ran a bustling boardinghouse for artists, writers and other cultural luminaries while pursuing their own personal and artistic pursuits. This hour-long focused tour will detail events and elements of the Holley women’s lives in the Progressive Era, including their business dealings, participation in local civic organizations and support of women’s suffrage, and examine what life, motherhood and was like for women in Cos Cob in the early 20th-century.
Please note that face masks are required for Bush-Holley House tours. Space is limited, pre-registration is required.
