Visiting Japanese sound artist Akinori Matsumoto and Middletown, CT based artist/musician Michael Pestel will perform on our campus during the Tavern Garden Market on Wednesday May 18th from 12-2 pm. Matsumoto creates sound objects from bamboo and paper that inspire and delight the senses.
A limited quantity of ‘bamboo fiddles’ will be available for purchase. Pestel builds and plays instruments related to bird song and bird extinction.
