As part of our “Discover Greenwich” Program, we welcome you to explore Greenwich Point with a guided walking tour around one of the most striking and scenic parks in town. Lead by Susie Baker, the tour will take approximately two hours, and will cover the area’s history and nature, from the Siwanoy “Monekewaygo,” or “shining sands,” to John Kennedy Tod’s 147-acre Victorian estate of the 1880s. Learn more about the fascinating story behind the magnificent Innis Arden Estate and ongoing preservation efforts to restore historically significant buildings while exploring the natural wonder of this beautiful park with Sue Baker of the Greenwich Point Conservancy.
