Bush-Holley House Tours
To commemorate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, the Greenwich Historical Society will be highlighting the experiences of David Bush and his family during the American Revolution, 1777-1783. Visitors will explore the first floor of the Bush-Holley House and learn how this pivotal American event, impacted this family and how the decisions they made during the Revolutionary war impacted their lives during and after the conflict.
Curator Tours
Join Senior Curator Kathy Craughwell-Varda for exclusive tours of our current exhibition Fashioning America: 250 Years of Greenwich Style. Available in celebration of America’s 250th.
Tours are monthly at 11:00 am on the following Saturdays: May 2, June 20, July 18, August 22, September 19, October 24, November 21, December 5. The last curator tour will be held on January 9, 2027.
Behind the Scenes in the Archival Collections
On Fridays and Saturdays, visitors will have the opportunity to see treasures from the archival collection with tours of the library and archives. This “behind the scenes” opportunity will give visitors a chance to see primary sources such as maps and ephemera that are not frequently on display. Museum and archives staff will be on-hand to answer any questions.
Time Travelers Family Sundays
Step back in time and experience 250 years of Greenwich’s history with Time Travelers Family Sundays! The second Sunday of every month will feature family-friendly site tours along with an accompanying hands-on activity in our classroom. Guided activities are free with admission!
