Emergency Relief Fund
Due to the unprecedented flooding caused by Hurricane Ida, the Greenwich Historical Society’s Museum Galleries, Library and Archives are closed until further notice. We are thankful that the National Historic Landmark Bush-Holley House, our exhibit galleries, the Vanderbilt Education center and offices were not damaged. Other areas, including the Library and Archives sustained significant water damage. Our staff members are safe and working on cleanup efforts to ensure the safety of our museum and archival collections, and laying the groundwork for a timely remediation and reopening. At this time we have made the difficult decision to postpone our upcoming exhibit, Life and Art: The Greenwich Paintings of John Henry Twachtman, due to open October 6, to a date in the future.
Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to help the Historical Society’s cleanup and restoration efforts. Thank you for all you do to support our work to preserve and interpret Greenwich History. Our work is only possible thanks to the support of our members.
