Every second Sunday in 2026, step back in time and experience 250 years of Greenwich’s history!
Each month features family-friendly tours at 11:00, 1:00, 2:00, and 3:00, along with an accompanying hands-on activity in our classroom for visitors of all ages.

In May, learn about how embroidery has been used throughout history to decorate clothing and the home. Visit our current exhibition, Fashioning America: 250 Years of Greenwich Style, to admire clothing from throughout American history, and see how many with embroidered elements you can spot. Take a tour of the Bush-Holley House to see how needle arts would have been featured in an eighteenth-century home. Finally, join us in the classroom to learn simple stitches that you can use to add embellishment to clothing and more. Put together all the stitches you’ve learned to create your own historically-inspired sampler!
