Welcome to the Forbidden Speakeasy-Style Cocktail Class featuring Eddie “Mixxed by Ed” Hernandez, Remy Martin 1738, Cointreau, and The Botanist Gin hosted in the barn at the Greenwich Historical Society! The Prohibition era in the U.S. was a nationwide constitutional ban on the production, importation, transportation, and sale of alcoholic beverages from 1920 to 1933. During this time, an underground culture of alcohol enthusiasts emerged infused with jazz music inspired concoctions and fascinating cocktail creations with one goal in mind – feeing the forbidden buzz!
Our much-anticipated event will transport our guests to this time with a cocktail class featuring (3) curated creations reminiscent of the forbidden cocktails during the Prohibition era. All equipment will be provided. Our guests will receive gifted cocktail kits including their very own 375ml bottle of Cointreau! Eddie “Mixxed by Ed” Hernandez will also be providing a batch of his special seasonal sangria to welcome everyone for the first half hour of the event! You do not want to miss this Forbidden Speakeasy Style Cocktail Class.
Attendees must be 21+ to attend and are encouraged to arrange for a designated driver or ride share service. Cheers and enjoy responsibly!
