Step back in time and experience 250 years of Greenwich’s history! Join us for Time Travelers Family Sunday on Sunday, February 8th! Throughout 2026, the second Sunday of every month will feature family-friendly tours at 12:00, 1:30, and 3:00 along with an accompanying hands-on activity in our classroom.

In February, the Time Travelers Family Sunday will focus on tonalism and winter landscape paintings. Explore examples of paintings by American Impressionist artists Childe Hassam and Elmer Livingston MacRae during a tour of our current exhibition, The Holley Boarding House: Inspiring American Impressionism. Inspired by the winter grounds of the Historical Society, create a winter landscape painting of your own in the education classroom. Think like an Impressionist painter and discover the many colors that make up snow! The classroom will be open from 12:00-4:00 PM, and we invite visitors of all ages to join us.

During this season of gratitude and goodwill, help us make history!

Your donation supports our mission to preserve and celebrate Greenwich’s vibrant past, inform the future and build a shared sense of place.
