Speaker Biography

Colin Stark

Colin Stark grows and designs flowers from field to finished piece. As owner of Stark Blooms, a Hudson Valley cut-flower farm, and Pocket’s Cottage Flower and Gifts retail shop, he works the full cycle: seasonal harvests of tulips, ranunculus, peonies, dahlias, and more become custom bouquets, event installations, and same-day farm-to-shop arrangements.

That same hands-on practice shapes his teaching. Colin has hosted floral workshops for community groups and students, and his holiday wreath sessions are a standout. Guests learn to build a full, lasting wreath from fresh greens and farm-grown material—structure, balance, and the finishing details that make a wreath feel complete.

Colin champions local, seasonal flowers and the craft of working with them. Join his holiday wreath workshop at the Greenwich Historical Society to learn from someone who grows the stems, designs with them every week, and knows how to help you create something worth hanging all season.
