Interactive Art Installation and Guided Walking Tours

Enjoy a unique, interactive art installation and guided walking tours around the Greenwich Historical Society campus and the National Historic Landmark Bush-Holley House. Featuring a series of floating frames positioned to highlight historic elements of the landscape and vistas now dominated by the presence of the I-95, the art activation, created by Untapped New York artist-in-residence Aaron Asis, reframes these historic views, challenging visitors to consider the highway not as an obstruction, but as an evolving element of the town’s historical tapestry. Guided tours led by Justin Rivers, Untapped New York’s Chief Experience Officer.

Rediscover Greenwich Avenue

Historic buildings will become canvases for large-scale murals featuring archival images of what those places looked like in the past, with text and images drawn from the Historical Society’s collections and interactive QR codes, that when scanned, share those unique stories. The murals, designed by Aaron Asis, will debut in conjunction with a new series of guided walking tours exploring the history of Greenwich Avenue and its local businesses led by Justin Rivers and Christopher Shields, Historical Society Director of Library and Archives.
