Venue Options & Parking

As you begin your planning process, please note the capacity recommendations below.  We offer equipment and furnishings at no additional charge.  Parking is also included in all rentals, with capacity limits noted. We are happy to recommend vendors for additional rentals and valet services if needed.  Please contact Daniel Suozzo at dsuozzo@greenwichhistory.org for additional information.  

Museum Rental: Foyer & Artist's Cafe and Courtyard

INCLUDES: 1st floor concourse, kitchen, lower service area, and courtyards. Available year-round

CAPACITY:  50 guests seated dinner, 100 guests Cocktails

Tent Option in Courtyard:  18’x28’ with sidewall, gutter and partial tent weighting.

Historic Barn / Vanderbilt Education Center

INCLUDES:  use of kitchen and adjacent lawn area. 
Available year-round

CAPACITY: 90 for standing reception/  80 for seated lecture/presentation / 60 for seated lunch or dinner with service

The Great Lawn

Tent Options:

50’x60’ White Navitrac frame tent raised to a 10” eave height 150 guest max reception, 300 guest max cocktails

40’x60’ White Navitrac frame tent – version of the above 120 guest max reception, 240 guest max cocktails

32’x51’ Sailcloth Tent
60 guest max reception, 130 guest max cocktails

24’x44’  Frame tent on the upper lawn which can be attached to the 50X60 tent. Used as a cook tent

20’x30’ Frame tent
30 guest max reception, 50 guest max cocktails

Main Parking Lot Capacity:  48 cars

Parallel Parking Capacity:  5 cars at curbside on Strickland Road in front of the site

Additional Parking available in the Town Marina parking across street from main parking lot

Accessibility to the entire site is provided via an elevator to the upper level and accessible walkways throughout.
