In conjunction with our current exhibition, Greenwich During the Revolutionary War: A Frontier Town on the Front Line, the Time Travelers KidStudio returns through March 2025! Step back in time and learn how kids lived in Greenwich 250 years ago. Every Wednesday and Saturday afternoon will feature a new guided craft or activity inspired by the colonial era. Children up to age 12 are welcome to attend with an accompanying adult.

On Wednesday, December 11 the KidStudio will offer making pomander balls! Pomander balls date back to the Medival times when they were used as a personal perfume. Over time, these sweet-smelling combinations of fruits and spices migrated from the body to the home, where people would leave pleasant-smelling items around the house. This was especially common during times of frequent visitors, such as the holiday season. Bring the delicious scent of citrus and cloves into your home for the holidays by creating your own pomander ball.
