In conjunction with our current exhibition, Greenwich During the Revolutionary War: A Frontier Town on the Front Line, the Time Travelers KidStudio returns through March 2025! Step back in time and learn how kids lived in Greenwich 250 years ago. Every Wednesday and Saturday afternoon will feature a new guided craft or activity inspired by the colonial era. Children up to age 12 are welcome to attend with an accompanying adult.

On Saturday, December 14 the KidStudio will offer tin punch inspired ornaments! The art of tin punching dates as far back as the early 1500s century Europe, but became increasingly popular in America in the mid-1700s as tin increased in accessibility. The most common form of tin punching was creating decorative lanterns but this art form could also be used to decorate furniture, dishes, and more. Try your hand at tin punching by creating a festive ornament for your tree inspired by Christmases of the past.
