In her new book, Mieke ten Have identifies and explains the four principal elements that she always takes into account: Color Theory, Pattern Play, Wild and Tame, and Flowers for Living. Learn her techniques for teasing out the elements of a home that make it compelling, beautiful, and alive. Mieke illustrates each of these principles through rooms that she has styled for noted designers such as Stephen Sills, Mario Buatta, Alberto Pinto, Rita Konig, and Victoria Hagan in a wide variety of homes and locations. Mieke ten Have

Interior Stylist

Mieke ten Have is an interiors stylist, design writer, and creative consultant. After years working as a magazine editor, which included positions as Home Editor of Vogue Magazine and Design Editor at Large of Elle Decor, Mieke parlays her editorial point of view into creative direction for interior designers, architects, and home brands. She produces photo shoots and visual content as well as written assets for a wide range of design clientele.

Mieke is a frequent contributor to Architectural Digest and House & Garden (UK) magazines. As a writer, she has worked on several books and continues to write for a number of publications in addition to content for brands and designers.
