The Greenwich Historical Society is delighted to support the YWCA Greenwich in their annual event honoring civil rights and social justice on January 23rd. This annual conversation is a cornerstone of the YWCA’s mission to celebrate the legacies of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Coretta Scott King, reflecting on their tireless dedication and to honor their contributions to civil rights and social justice.
This year’s theme will discuss Women’s Health Equity. The panel discussion will feature individuals deeply engrained in women’s health and health justice. The panel discussion will be moderated by Simone Quartey, Director of the Center for Equity and Justice.
The event will be held at the YWCA, and is free and open to the public.
