Christmas in Cos Cob: A Holiday Tour of the Bush-Holley House

On this special holiday tour of the Bush-Holley House, visitors will enjoy a festive walk through early twentieth century Christmas and holiday traditions enjoyed by adults and children of the Holley family in the era of the Cos Cob Art Colony, and learn about early American wintertime and holiday celebrations as observed in the era of the New Nation, among the Bush family and their Greenwich neighbors.

A Nation Divided: The Challenge of Secession

The Greenwich Historical Society is co-sponsoring the LWV Greenwich & Greenwich Academy for their 7th Community Case Discussion. If you could strengthen our democracy by discussing a pivotal episode in our shared history, would you participate? If you could experience one of the most divisive eras in our nation’s past as it took place, what choices would you make?

Holiday Family Festival

Celebrate the Holidays at the Greenwich Historical Society’s Holiday Festival. Bring your entire family for photos with Santa, holiday crafts and gingerbread decorating.

Festival of Tabletop Trees

Place a bid in our fourth annual Festival of Tabletop Trees. Local retailers, organizations, and designers will hand craft and decorate a tree which can be bid on and won at the end of our festival. Celebrate the talents of those who help us make our homes festive sanctuaries during the holiday season.

During this season of gratitude and goodwill, help us make history!

Your donation supports our mission to preserve and celebrate Greenwich’s vibrant past, inform the future and build a shared sense of place.
